ESX.iom Overview
The ESX.iom is a rugged CAN-based I/O module designed to expand the input/output capabilities of a master controller in 12V and 24V systems. With support for safety protocols such as CANopen Safety and ECeS, it fulfills SIL 2 and PL d requirements and is ideal for use in harsh mobile environments.
Programming
Programming and configuration are achieved via CAN protocols, primarily CANopen. Safety communication is supported through CANopen Safety and ECeS, with optional compatibility for J1939.
